One of the most interesting things that I saw was the cave rooms that are now possible, with the most outstanding animated windows showing mammoths wandering outside the window.

The gems for the Crown of Wonder tend to be elusive at times, and the Webkinz diamond is the most elusive of all the gems.  To begin the gem hunt, you will go to the Curio Shop where you’re going to be met by Arte, who offers you minimal advice on where to look, but does buy your excess or duplicate gems for Kinzcash that you can use to buy other things in the W Shop or other stores.

To start Gem hunting you will click on daily activities in your purple menu, and bring up daily activities. This shows you the option to go to the gem hunt.

Once you arrive at Arte’s and speak with him you will click on the map that says start hunting. The map offers you your choice of several mines that you can search in. The mines are known as Buried Bones, Flea Floater, Muzzle Mouth, Howling Horse, and Barking Mad Mine. Each of them offers their own unique gems that can’t be found elsewhere.

The Buried Bones Mine for instance is where you will find most of the very rare gems that you are looking for. A few tips on gem hunting are found below for you.

Buried Bones Mine – Location of all White Gems including the rare and wonderful Webkinz Diamond that willl sell for between 400 and 1000 in Kinz Cash. Several Yellow Gems may also be found here

Once you have  collected all of the gems you need, thirty in total, Arte will make a Crown of Wonder that you can either keep and wear, of you can sell the crown. It sells for about 2200 at the W Shop where your Kinzcash can be used to purchase other items for your Webkinz home.

Webkinz World features pets, other children from all over the country. You will enter Webkinz world and see a log in area, where you are given choices. You can go to my room, play games, even get a job. Each job requires that you do some quizzes to prove that you are ready for the job, like the real world.  You win kinz cash for the jobs, or for playing the games. Webkinz World features various jobs, as well as a newspaper, different games and activities each day that can be done, as well as hourly activities and holiday decorations. Your pet actually sits in the chair, sleeps on the bed and has a doctor to visit in case they feel ill.

The games are educational and fun at the same time, and they are incredible learning experiences. Amusingly enough, several of us attempted the games who are adult, and found that some of them are fairly difficult to do well. Having recently moved, our children play with their cousins from another state.
