Webkinz Gem Hunting Tips
The gem hunt in Webkinz is one of the most fun of the daily activities but collecting all those gems to get your Crown of Wonder can be very difficult. It’s one of the things that the kids tend to get the most impatient about.
The gems for the Crown of Wonder tend to be elusive at times, and the Webkinz diamond is the most elusive of all the gems. To begin the gem hunt, you will go to the Curio Shop where you’re going to be met by Arte, who offers you minimal advice on where to look, but does buy your excess or duplicate gems for Kinzcash that you can use to buy other things in the W Shop or other stores.
To start Gem hunting you will click on daily activities in your purple menu, and bring up daily activities. This shows you the option to go to the gem hunt.
Once you arrive at Arte’s and speak with him you will click on the map that says start hunting. The map offers you your choice of several mines that you can search in. The mines are known as Buried Bones, Flea Floater, Muzzle Mouth, Howling Horse, and Barking Mad Mine. Each of them offers their own unique gems that can’t be found elsewhere.
The Buried Bones Mine for instance is where you will find most of the very rare gems that you are looking for. A few tips on gem hunting are found below for you.
Buried Bones Mine – Location of all White Gems including the rare and wonderful Webkinz Diamond that willl sell for between 400 and 1000 in Kinz Cash. Several Yellow Gems may also be found here
Barking Mad Mine – Location of many Yellow Gems
The Corona Topaz is only found in the Barking Mad Mine
Muzzle Mouth Mine The Only mine to find the Red Ruby Heart.
Flea Floater Mine – Location of all Green Gems
The Earth Emerald is only found here
Howling Horse Mine Here you will find most of your Blue Gems
The location for you to find the Ocean Sapphire.
Once you have collected all of the gems you need, thirty in total, Arte will make a Crown of Wonder that you can either keep and wear, of you can sell the crown. It sells for about 2200 at the W Shop where your Kinzcash can be used to purchase other items for your Webkinz home.
